Last year a few of us went over to the Isle of Wight to enjoy the fun of a weekend of riding. Although we did not enter the main two-day navigator event we did do one enduro of 50km. I am thinking about doing 100km this year but there are other options as well. It was a really good weekend as there is some good riding on the island and the campsite also has food, bar, bands and lots of bike related stuff.
So going to go and do it again this year – takes place on 23-26 May, Bank Holiday weekend. Cost is £40 (or £3o if you only ride on one day) and that covers riding and camping. There is also an offer on the cost of ferry over from Southampton.
Have a look at their website for more information – http://www.trailbreak.co.uk/bigwight
I appreciate that this is pretty short notice now and a few people have already said that they were not able to do it but thought I would give one last heads up for anyone who fancies it…
cheers, ian
